Philosophy
Circle of Friends Summer Program
seeks to encourage the creative
energies of children in a relaxed,
playful atmosphere. Our goal is for
each child to have fun and experience
the pleasures of summer.
The Program
The Circle of Friends Summer
Program open to children 2.9 years
old to 5 years old. Sessions are
available in 1-week blocks, with your
choice of a 3-day or 5-day program.
The 3-day program is offered on
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
Groups are limited in size to ensure a
maximum of individual attention. The
camper/counselor ratio is 6 to 1.

The summer program is staffed by professional teachers, qualified by the
Office For Child Care Services, and is administered by a Director in
cooperation with a volunteer Parent Board. All teachers are CPR certified
yearly with continuous First Aid training.
***To ensure the health, safety and well-being of all children, it is imperative
that those enrolled in the summer program be toilet trained.***
Activities
Children will be offered a wide variety of activities, both inside and outdoors.
The Summer Program focuses on the needs of each child and includes arts
and crafts, dramatic play, water play, blocks, puzzles, and theme days.
Creating sea creatures & bugs, Pajama Day and puppets are just some of the
special programs children can look forward to. Every day is “a day at the
beach” with wading pools.
Children will be offered a snack every day and should provide their own lunch.
An up to date medical form must be on file at the time of the child’s
enrollment.
Early Drop Off & Extended Day
Early Drop Off and Extended Day hours are available daily. Dates for these
two programs must be reserved at the time of registration.
Rates and Hours
Pre-registered summer camp rates will be $29.00 for a 9:00AM - 1:00PM
day. 8:00AM Early Drop Off and Extended Day hours are available by the
hour at $7.25 per hour. After the start of camp, depending on availability,
drop in rates will be $36.00 for a 9:00AM-1:00PM day and $9.00 per hour for
extended day.
